Definition
The change of the entry item refers to the procedure for the State Intellectual Property Office to make changes to the applicant, the patent owner, the agent and other relevant matters according to the request of the party concerned.
The change of entry items includes name change and right change.
Scope of changes
Usually, the entry items of a patent application are: application number, application date, name of the invention, classification number, priority matters (including the application number, application date and country of application of prior applications), applicant or patentee matters (including the name or title, nationality, address and postal code of the applicant or patentee), name of the inventor, patent agent matters (including the name, address, postal code and name of the patent agent), contact person matters (including the name, address and postal code of the patent agent) and representative, etc. (including the name, address, zip code, and name of the patent agent), the contact person (including the name, address, and zip code), and the representative, etc.
Among them, the relevant person's entry items (refers to the applicant or patent matters, the name of the inventor, patent agent matters, contact person matters, representative) change, should be the person concerned in accordance with the provisions of the entry item change declaration procedures; other entry items change, should be changed by the patent office ex officio according to the situation.
